Joshu
Osmanski is almost always up for a challenge, an attribute that helped to fuel
his desire to snowboard at an early age. A native of Boston, Massachusetts,
Osmanski enjoyed many family trips to the snow-covered mountains of the
Northeast as a child, and quickly discovered the thrill and excitement
snowboards had to offer.
“My parents
didn’t approve at first,” says Osmanski, “but now they snowboard too! They must
have seen how much fun I was having.”
Though
Joshu Osmanski began his somewhat brief snow sports career on a pair of skis,
it didn’t take long for him to fall in love with and adopt the snowboard as the
preferred way to hit and traverse the slopes.
Now a
busy professional with an extensive list of clients, Joshu Osmanski doesn’t find much
time anymore to shred the powder of Vermont and New Hampshire on a consistent
basis. He still, however, looks back
fondly on his many childhood memories of racing down the mountain on top of his
favorite board.
